The ILM Foundation has utilized its original programming to counteract negative propaganda designed to damage character of both Muslim and Interfaith communities. Humanitarian Day has well-established services and is a working model for coalition building, direct service, and community organizing for global social justice. We work to maintain an honorable station as Custodians for Social Direct Services, Education and Awareness.
As a Coalition to Preserve Human Dignity, which consists of volunteers, organizations, and institutions that collectively share resources for humanitarian projects, together we have served well over 60,000 deserving individuals. These events have been hosted in over 20 domestic urban sites, have developed leaders, and have motivated volunteers to serve their communities through direct service. It is one of the largest civic engagement programs during American Muslims’ sacred month of Ramadan.
